Happy Fathers’ Day to Dad and Grandpa from me, Christian and Dad :-)

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads!

I thought I’d give everyone a ride on my bike, but Grandma and Gucci wouldn’t fit.

Be afraid… be veeery afraid :-)

Forty day blessing

August 29, 2008

Christian:

In the Greek Orthodox church it is customary for new born babies, that’s me, to go with their mothers for their first visit to the church forty days after their birth. Mum, Dad, me and Charles, plus Grandma and Grandpa went off to see Father Joel today.

Outside the Greek church

Father Joel first said some prayers for me at the door

Father Joel prays just for me!

And then he took me and Mum up into the Sanctuary of the church, for a special blessing to welcome her back to the church and to give thanks for my safe arrival.

Inside the Greek church

Naturally Charles didn’t want to miss out on the praying, so him and Dad had their own prayers outside! I think Dad was praying that Charles would sit still for just a minute :-)

Charles and Dad praying!

Name Day

July 27, 2008

Charles:

Today was my name day, so after church me and Mum ‘n Dad ‘n Christian, plus Yia Yia, Grandma ‘n Grandpa, Aunty Katie and cousin Niki went to Cornucopia Restaurant for a feed :-)

Yep, me... Charles

Pretty good venue actually; nice view… can ya see me in the middle there? :-)

Fine lookin' crew, hey!

After we ate Grandpa took me exploring… the restaurant’s at the museum so we found all sortsa good stuff. I thought I’d write my name for ya, but I could only find a “C”…

Yep, that's a C for me... Charles!

and an “L”; doesn’t give a bloke much ta work with :-)

And that's an L for you illiterates!!

One-eyed :-)

July 12, 2008

Christian:

I’ve only been born one day and, according to Mum, I’m already a one-eyed Collingwood supporter :-)

Typical Collingwood supporter - one-eyed!

Charles reckons I should keep both eyes on the ball, ’cause Collingwood beat Adelaide Crows today and that’s Dad’s team… uh oh !

Keep an eye out for Dad, Christian!

What do you think Charles, should we mention the footy?

Footy... what's that?

Nah, we’ll tell him a joke… he’ll forget about it… ’til Mum rubs it in :-)

Have ya heard the one about the two Crows, Dad?

Hmmm, Magpies 106, Crows 74; I think Dad’s done for… it’s three onto one Dad!!

Give up, Dad!

Merry Christmas!

December 25, 2007

Merry Christmas to all my loyal fans :-)

Merry Christmas to all!

Boy… I like Christmas! I got up this morning and there was all kindsa stuff waiting… and we haven’t even got a chimney?! Yia Yia and Pa Pou gave me a cool bike so, when we went to Grandma and Grandpa’s for Christmas lunch, I took it and showed Grandma.

The bike I got from Yia Yia and Pa Pou

Grandma and Grandpa gave me a black wagon that ya walk behind; ya cart dirt an’ everything in it… even rocks ‘n stuff. I can’t show ya yet ’cause Grandpa’s gotta load me with my little excavator! I let Grandma keep the box but :-)

Ya can't see my wagon, but here's the box!

Then we had lunch… yuuum!! ( If ya look real close at my face, you’ll see spots starting; I got another, unexpected, present for Christmas… measles… maybe! )

Roast duck... yuuum!!

Oh…  everyone else had food too, not just me, see…

Lotsa food!

‘Course Grandpa had ta take the photos… and Dad had ta answer all my texts; I was busy :-)

I need a secretary ta handle my texts!

Then it was time for sweets… check out the blue tongue, heh, heh!

Blue tongue Charles!

It’s not what ya think, all right… it’s paper; I love it, ask Mum!

Paper.. it's paper I tell ya!

I looked everywhere for Uncle Morgwn and Auntie Anniee, under the table…

Are Uncle Morgwn and Auntie Anniee under here?

Out in the street…

They're not out here

But they’re not here :-( Merry Christmas Uncle Morgwn and Auntie Anniee xox

So I gave up, gave Mum a cuddle, and went ta sleep… least Mum wished I would :-) Merry Christmas everyone!!

Nap time
