My name is Charles Ian Stanley Hyde and I was born at 1548 hrs on February 1, 2007; my paternal grandfather started this blog for me as soon as I had a name. I was 3.04 kg, or 6lb 11oz for imperial people, and 50cm long. It took my Mum and Dad all night to work out what to call me.
I had to get a few helpers so I brought my Mum along, always handy when ya wanna get born, and my Dad came too… I think he wanted to make sure I look like him, and I do 
Dr. Andrew came in handy too, ’cause I didn’t really want to leave the nice, warm place were I usta live. He brought his scalpel, and needles and all kinds of cool stuff.
This here, for all you folks who don’t know me yet, is my first performance; ya looking at the main actors in what promises to be an epic show… stay tuned ’cause I gotta have a rest now… Mum said, and I wouldn’t like ta get on the wrong side of her, not just yet
