Camping out

Yaaay… I’m sleeping over at Grandma and Grandpa’s tonight! We’ve got painters at our place and paint stinks, so off we went to George Crescent. Mum and Grandma gave me a bath soon as we got there… in the kitchen sink… good fun

Grandpa, me and Dad walked to Fannie Bay cliffs; sunsets are cool!

Tell ya what though… walkin’s hard work, we had ta have a rest… ‘Specially when ya big as me I weighed in today, and I’ve put on another 400 grams; now I’m 3.84 kg and 55cm tall!!

Mexicans!

Someone left the border open and there’s Mexicans at Halkitis Court! Grandma, Grandpa’s and Dad’s friends Brian (aka Floater) and Josie (aka Achmed), from Alice Springs, came to meet me and Mum yesterday… I’m famous, as you know, and now they’re famous too, so naturally we just had ta get together; as famous people do

Then, guess what? We all went to Stokes Hill Wharf for tea… yaaaay… good place! We fed the fishes and everything… well, they did… I was hungry again, so Mum had ta feed me too!

Diet?

I can’t believe it; two weeks old and Mum’s trying to ration my food… she reckons I’m a little guts! Just ’cause I put on 344 grams in a week; I’m 51.4cm tall ya know Mum
  

Horsey

Grandma and Grandpa bought us a rocking horse! He’s been stabled at their house waiting for me to arrive; Grandpa and Uncle Morgwn loaded him into Dad’s horse float today and brought him to Halkitis Court.

Horsey was a bit windy about walking inside so Grandpa had a little chat with him.

Me and Mum and Grandma can’t believe he’s here… right in our house. I was a bit shy, I’ve never seen a horse before… I’ve heard about them though! Elmo knows all about horses, he’s been taking riding lessons at Grandma and Grandpa’s, so he took Dog and Alex the lion for a ride in our living room… how cool!

I get to look after him all by myself ’til we get some more kids… then I have ta share

Shopping!

I’m old now… one week, so I went to the shops with Grandpa and Dad. It was really good… ‘cept they didn’t buy one thing for me… just for theirselves… boy

Mum reckons me and Dad are a pair of clowns, ’specially Dad sometimes… she snuck out of the picture… didn’t want ta be mixed up with a pair of clowns

Enough with the hats, Dad… me hungry… like Cookie Monster.

Home, sweet home!

Told ya that light was good… so good they chucked me outa hospital… “Go Home” they said; true! So… I loaded up all my goodies and moved into Halkitis Court; not bad… not bad at all! I put Gucci and Osama straight, right from the word “Go”; “Outside with ya’s”… but I reckon they’ll be sneakin’ in ta keep me company before long!

I thought we better get a group shot of all us NT Hydes before I had tea, so here we are… hey, there’s Elmo!

Uncle Tommy, he did the honors while my usual photographer posed with us… we’re a handsome pair, aren’t we!

It’s been a big day… all that movin’ an’ stuff; I’m buggered…Good Byee!

Louie the Fly…

I’m Louie the fly… Louie the fly… a victim of Mortein! Nah.. not really, but don’t I look seriously cool!!! I’ m still a bit jaundiced, so I can’t go home until I hang out under this groovy light for a coupla days; dig the shades!

They thought I wasn’t lookin’… first they got cousin Niki ta nurse me, reckoned that would distract me, and it did too…  but I keep me wits about me, and I saw Grandpa sneaking out with my Elmo and Chemo Ernie… I bet he hasn’t got one of them… Tell ya what, big trouble if he’s not in my room at Mum and Dad’s! 

I figured I’d be able ta count on Uncle Nick, I had a bit of a chat with him… but tell ya what, I think I saw him takin’ off with some of my gear a bit later too… and Dad an’ Grandma!

Water… yeeuch!

Milk in one end and s… out the other, that’s me Ya should see what they made me do today… wash… with water… bloke’s lucky they didn’t get out the soap! Lucky I had my cousin Charlie for backup… dunno what he’s laughin’ about… bet he doesn’t have ta wash whenever they grab a hold of him!

A few more of my fans rocked up; bit embarrassing gettin’ caught in the tub… there’s no curtain or nuthin’. Cousin Charlie’s right… he’s only young, but my second Cousins Yiannis and Themelis came to visit… and here’s me naked as the day I was born :-0 Tiana and Grandma have seen it all before but sheesh… talk about blush!

Okay… now no peeking you gals… this for blokes only, orright! It’s just so ya can see what us young lads have ta put up with. Hey… I can see you gals lookin’… eat ya hearts out; line up there, ya hear… Waddya reckon; model material or what

I’m a popular lad

Well… I had a bit of a sleep last night, then sorted out a few photos of my visitors from yesterday; so let me introduce you…

From the left, that’s my Yia Yia (grandmother) Niki, Uncle Tommy, Auntie Katie, cousin Niki, Pa Pou (grandfather) Charlie, Uncle Billy and my cousin Billy.

That’s my Auntie Anniee and Uncle Morgwn on the left, with my Grandpa Ian and Grandma Heather. Ya probably recognize my Mum and Dad and… naturellement, it’s me Charles, right in the front.

Niki, Anniee and Morgwn can’t believe how good lookin’ I am.

Tiana reckons I’m so cool she’s gunna be my godmother; and… I think  Niki’s in love with me already

The fans, the fans; it’s like a revolving door here, they wore my airconditioner out and I had ta change rooms… heaps of goodies ta move too… thanks a lot everyone!

BTW; watch out for my movie… it’s a tearjerker… me, Yia Yia and my new pilchers
